Yesterday, before leaving beautiful, sunny and hot Cabo, I took a walk to take some pictures and capture some more memories to hold me over until my next vacation (and for dreams of returning).

Turtles and Sharks! - Diving Kauai

Since completing my Advanced Open Water three weeks ago, I have been so excited to go on a dive to the depths of the ocean, having the ability to see wrecks and go inside caverns and tunnels, and to just experience so much more than what I could with my Open Water certification.  I spent the days working up to our trip to Kauai nagging Bryan, "which dives do you want to go on?  what days do you want to go"?  Eventually, I had to just say, "let's go!" Planning a Destination Wedding - Part II

My wedding came and went...it's kind of sad that it's over, especially when I spent over a year planning for it!  But, at the same time, I was happy that I no longer had to worry about little details once I returned from Mexico. I could not have asked for a better day for my wedding.  We lucked out in the weather department - there had been a 90% chance of rain for our wedding for the entire week leading up to it, and the two days prior, there were afternoon showers.  However, our wedding planner said he and his crew knew the weather very well and were quite certain no storms would interfere.  Our wedding began at 4pm on the beach, and ended at 10:30pm on one of the outdoor terraces - at 10:32pm, it down-poured! Perfect timing!  Aside from the wonderful staff, no one got wet. Giant's Causeway and Northern Ireland Tour

Today we began with an attempt at the free hostel breakfast, only to decide quickly that we should just go elsewhere.  The people at the hostel table seemed to be happy enough but we weren't really sure where the food was or what protocols to follow to eat, clean up and share.  We booked a day trip to the Giant's Causeway with Paddywagon Tours and had to meet up at 10:00 near the bus station, so we headed in that direction and had a quick coffee and fruit breakfast at one of the many Cafe Neros. Our bus tour guide was awesome - he was funny, telling stories (many of which, I'm sure, were just lies or tales to keep us entertained), and getting us efficiently and safely to where we needed to be.  Our tour up to the Giant's Causeway included a quick stop at the Dark Hedges , where beech trees were planted about 250 years ago to line one homestead's lane.  These trees are now used in some parts of the Game of Thrones series, but since I've never seen that show, ...
